'YOUNG POLITICIANS ROLE IN BUILDING AN ASIAN COMMUNITY’

Excellencies, Ladies, and Gentlemen. Never before in history has the emphasis on youth’s role in politics become so widespread and significant. In almost every corner of the globe, young people have been openly encouraged to play a crucial role in politics, as it is believed that the future of the new world rests upon their revolutionary spirit.
Youths are believed to be creative and powerfully imaginative; possessing a strong will and courage for daring change. With their pure hearts, youth is the moment when numerous beautiful dreams are born.
However, it has also been seen that one step into a twisted world like politics, and the vast majority of youth begin to compromise their integrity and morality, subsequently becoming corrupted just like their predecessors.
So, as young politicians, let us always bear in mind that the world becomes new because of who we are! The world becomes new because we, as youth, never fear to express ourselves and challenge the status quo. Not only does the world become new, but beautiful and healthy, because we hate corruption and we are determined to eliminate it no matter what it takes us. Not only does the world become economically sound, but a warm place for humans to live because we don’t just cooperate for mutual benefits. We cooperate because far across borders, we share the pain of our brothers and sisters, and we thirst to extend our hands to release their pain, to embrace them with love and compassion. We cooperate because we simply want to live together as a family.

Let us youth never lose ourselves. Let us youth never forget our roles.
Let us never hesitate to throw ourselves into the mud for the sake of a cleaner world; but let us always make sure that our hearts remain clean.
Let us not just look for inspiration, but be the source of inspiration.
Robert F. Kennedy once observed, “youth is not a time of life but a state of mind”.
So, with the unshakeable spirit of youth, let us all today, young and old, set off for an adventurous dream.
A prosperous and warm community where the powerful embrace the weak with love and compassion, is a dream of mine. I hope all of you here today share this dream too. Thank you.
